Presque Isle Downs Casino Changing Buffet Due to Customer Complaints

On April 1, 2007, the Presque Isle Downs Casino is changing their buffet as a result of customer complaints regarding the costs, quality and types of food offered at the casino.

Ted Arneault, Chief Executive of MTR Gaming Group Inc. and Casino Owner, said that changes are needed because food is a necessary part of the overall experience of their customers at the gambling casino.

Richard Knight, CEO of the casino, said that he is not happy with the casino's buffet either. The cost of the Breakfast and Lunch at the Triple Crown Buffet has been cut down by about $3 to $4.95 and $7.95 and the dinner cost has been cut down by $2 to $10.95, according to Knight.

The casino's menu is also being changed, like the addition of ham and turkey stations during lunch and even a rib station during dinner time. Casino officials have even added fish to the menu. Knight further stated that the food issue is one of the few problems that the casino has encountered upon the casino's opening.

Yet despite the problems, the casino has gotten excellent reviews from their customers for their live music, employees and the food served at the Downs Clubhouse and Lounge and the La Bonne Vie Steakhouse.
