Forbes Magazine, the famous business magazines had listed three of Macao casinos in the list of thirteen hottest casinos.
The three of Macao's nineteen casinos included in the list are Hotel Lisboa, Mandarin Oriental and Sands Macao.
Forbes magazine listed Hotel Lisboa on the sixth spot and hails it as a "fixture on the Macao skyline". Hotel Lisboa offers one thousand hotel rooms and eighteen restaurants.
In the eight place, Mandarin Oriental is described as a smaller and posh alternative to gigantic Hotel Lisboa.
Sands Macao, the first gaming complex in the region run by western enterprise has grabbed the ninth place. Forbes acclaimed the gaming rooms, casino tables and gaming facilities at the Sands Macao.
According to official figures, Macao's nineteen casinos pay directly to government the thirty five percent of their total receipts as game taxes.
Official statistics shows that game revenues had reached more than sixteen billion patacas or more than two billion dollars in 2005.
Game revenues continue to rise twelve percent annually.
Macao has a population of more than four hundred eighty thousand people and boosts a one hundred fifty year rich history of gambling.
Macao, the Las Vegas of Asia, is the only place in China where gambling is legal.
