On October 2nd, 2007, the Crown Casino plans to construct the biggest hotel facility in Australia as part of their property expansion worth $540 million. The construction of the 3rd hotel facility, a 658 room establishment on Clarendon St. will start this month.
The Crown Casino will spend $40 million to construct a conference facility adjacent to the Crown Promenade hotel. The total remodeling of the Crown Casino will be financed by the parent organization of the Crown Casino, the Publishing and Broadcasting Company.
The company earned $567 million last year. The $300 million worth hotel facility will increase the number of available rooms in Crown Casino to 1,600.
