Craps Debuts in Pennsylvania

Once casino gaming is introduced in an area, it is hard to block the momentum that starts to build for full blown casino facilities. States usually begin with slot machines, then they steadily increase their gambling offerings until full blown gaming is allowed in their state. On May 17th, 2008 The casino gaming operators in Pennsylvania are in the middle of legalizing full blown gaming in their own state.

They already have the right to feature slot machines and poker in their gambling establishments but now they are aiming to offer more gaming opportunities for their clients. The Pennsylvania casino gaming operators have petitioned the house to consider giving them the opportunity to offer casino table games like blackjack, roulette and craps in their facilities.

The casino operators said that the casino table games are important to compete with gaming establishments from nearby states. The operators also said that the casino table games will give them better opportunity to compete with Atlantic City.

The President of Susquehanna Polling and Research in Harrisburg said that usually, when the door is already open for gaming, it becomes simpler to argue your case like expanding gaming. The state of Florida is experiencing the same type of development.

The voters living in Broward and Miami-Dade have given their approval on slot machines and poker machines at pari-mutuel facilities. Just recently, Governor Crist has legalized a gaming with the Seminole Indian tribe that will allow the tribe to offer baccarat and blackjack.
