The BC Lottery will make some changes in Canadas gaming addiction program. This is in response to the gambling expansion in land-based and online casinos.

The Massachusetts Senate is in favor of allowing casino resorts in the state. But they are not in favor of allowing slot machines in state racetracks.

The Pennsylvania Board penalized the Parx Casino $10,000 for violating state casino rules. Casino officials agreed to pay the fine and will re-train their staff.

Ohio voters will decide on whether to allow the location for the casino facility in Columbus on May 4th, 2010. Cincinnati, Toledo and Cleveland will also host casinos.

Maine officials are considering expanding gambling in the state in order to compete with neighboring states. Passamaquoddy officials are happy with this development.
