Matchplay 21 Blackjack Variation
The MatchPlay 21 Blackjack variation, like Super Fun 21, offers certain bonus payouts according to given card combinations. Among the deviations to the common Blackjack rules, MatchPlay 21 includes removing all 10s from the two decks with which this variant is played.
Matchplay 21 Blackjack's goal is to get bonus for hands containing 7s, like in Triple 7s Blackjack variation, although the player's chances to hit 7 are higher in this Blacjack variant. For this reason, the odds are also lower.
The advantages of the MatchPlay 21 variation are:
- The player may surrender at any time.
- After splitting, players are allowed to hit.
- One of the dealer's cards is disclosed.
- Blackjacks pay 3:2.
On the other hand, the downsides to the Matchplay 21 Blackjack variation are:
- Players may not double more than once.
- The dealer's upcard also has to be a 7 for you to win any pay at all.
- No bonus payouts are earned after a split or a double.
