Poker Three - the two in one poker game
Poker Three is a really simple Poker-based game. Poker Three actually consists of two separate games. You may bet on one or both of them.
"Pair Plus" is the simplest game. You just place a bet, the dealer serves you a hand and you get paid according to it. No decisions other than the wager are taken by the player and there are no rules except for the pay out table:
- Straight flush - 40:1
- Three of a kind - 30:1
- Straight - 6:1
- Flush - 4:1
- Pair - 1:1
"Ante and Play" is not really any more complicated than "Pair Plus". You place an ante (a preliminary bet) and play against the house. You receive a poker hand and can now decide whether to fold (surrender and lose your ante) or call, placing a bet that is equal to your ante. The dealer hand is now open and the hands are compared.
- If the dealer beats the player, both bets are lost
- If the dealer ties the player (obtains a hand equal to that of the player) both bets are pushed (returned)
- If the player beats the dealer both the ante and the play bet win even money.
An important distinction of this game is that the dealer must qualify: the dealer hand must contain a Queen or higher to qualify for the rules. If the dealer doesn't have such a card ante bet will win even money and the play bet will be returned.
The ante bet also has special bonuses regardless the dealer hand:
- Straight wins 1 to 1
- Three of a kind wins 4 to 1
- Straight flush wins 5 to 1
